On Tuesday, November 16th, Rootbeer and Revolution will feature
discussions with Victoria Law & Jordan Flaherty.

Victoria Law is a writer, photographer and mother. She helped start
Books Through Bars-New York City and is the author of “Resistance
Behind Bars: The Struggles of Incarcerated Women.”

Jordan Flaherty is a writer and community organizer based in New
Orleans. He was the first writer to bring the story of the Jena Six to
a national audience and is the author of “Floodlines: Community and
Resistance from Katrina to the Jena Six.”

Come join us in dialogue about the many forms of community resistance
and how to support those who have been locked-up behind bars.

After the discussion at the Taala Hooghan Infoshop, please join the
Communities & Resistance Tour in further discussion hosted by the
Flagstaff Repeal Coalition.  This second presentation will be at 7pm
on South Campus NAU in the SBS building (room 241).
